Privacy policy

Plainly stated: what BaristaCritic collects, what it does not collect, and what it will do if that changes. Last reviewed September 6, 2026.

What we collect

Right now: almost nothing

This holding edition has no accounts, no comments, no forms, and no payment processing. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. We do not build profiles, and we do not sell data to anyone.

Like any website, ours receives basic technical information from your browser when it loads pages, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is how the web works at the hosting level, and we do not use it to identify you.

What will change, if it does

Analytics and affiliate links

If analytics are ever activated, it will be aggregate traffic measurement only: no personal identity, no cross-site tracking, no advertising networks repurposing the data. This page and the disclosure page will be updated before any such change ships.

If and when affiliate links are added, they will be marked next to the link, the programs will be named, and this page and the disclosure page will state the change on the day it happens, before any link goes live.

Your rights

Questions, requests, and corrections

You can reach us at any time through the contact page. If you believe any data about you is held or used incorrectly, tell us and we will review it; if applicable law gives you a right to request deletion or correction, we will honour it to the extent the data exists.

How this page changes

This policy is dated (September 6, 2026) and will be re-dated every time it changes, with the change recorded in the page history. If anything about data handling changes, this page states it before or at the same time the change ships, never after.
